“Start into the wind” is incomplete if the route leaves you miles from shelter when conditions worsen. A bailout is part of the route, not an admission that the forecast might win.
5. Drafting without visibility or etiquette
Do not sit so close that you cannot see hazards. Do not cross the course, block others, or surge repeatedly for a group that is running the wrong effort.
